Introducing Guests

When you plan to bring a guest to a meeting, please register him at the Membership desk so he can be introduced.  Also, for prospective new members, please ensure that the Membership Chairman has his name, email and 'phone number before leaving the meeting.

Safe E-Mailing Practices

You may have noticed that our general emails are sent out as blind copies.  This has been our standard practice since we started the email program.

Probus Centre Canada published a document (click here) that supports this philosophy.

The operation of our Club relies completely on the time, talents and energy shared by volunteer members. We have no paid staff. Our volunteer program is getting the right person in the right job, with the right skills at the right time.  At the same time, volunteers can make new friends and have fun. And yes, the member might gain some knowledge and experience!

There are lots of opportunities.  -   the Speaker Committee, the Special Events Committee, several internal special interest club groups, managing the identification badges,
